Week 8- Product stages

The YouTube video “Product Development Stages” says there are eight stages in product development:

Ø  Idea Generation
Ø  Idea Screening
Ø  Concept Development
Ø  Market Strategy
Ø  Feasibility Analysis/ Study
Ø  Product Design
Ø  Test Marketing
Ø  Market Entry



The marketing strategy phase is where you establish your target market/ who you are specifically trying to sell your product to. In my opinion, this is the most important because when you make a product you are making it for some reason and for people you know will buy it.  When marketing your products, you are trying to focus in on the target audience so you can sell your product effectively.
