Marketing channel is the people, organizations, etc.
necessary to transfer the ownership of goods from where they were produced to
the point of utilization. It is the way the products or the services get to the
consumer. It is also a choice, from the consumer end, I which they think is the
best way to interact with the people making the product or providing a service.
Now-a-days there are more channels than ever before, for obvious reasons, with
all the different kinds of social media and different internet sources. To have
success through this your message to the consumer has to be for a target
audience, specific towards what they need or you may barely see results. For
example, you may be able to reach younger people better through the social media
outlets.
You should then find ways to make the consumer respond to
your message or posting. If you are not getting responds from the consumer
about these, you really have no clue if your marketing tactics are working.
